In 2009 Richard was hired as Field Judge in CFO West and has worked 2 Texas vs Nation games, and as a first year official was selected for the 2009 Hawaii bowl. Richard has also worked as a Replay Assistant and on the field for Southland and Lonestar conferences.
Richard and Victor Firth started the West Texas Football Officials' Clinic in 2005 and have been sold out every year. This has become one of the best clinics in the country and attracts many college supervisors and NFL officials.
Rich is married to Belinda, they have a daughter named Annelise, and work for US Airways in El Paso Texas.
