Vic began officiating football in 1986 and presently is an Umpire in the Big Sky Conference. He has worked several California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Championships, a CIF State Championship, ten Jr. College Bowl games and NCAA Div. III semi-final and quarter final games.
In 2000, Vic began officiating Div.1-AA level through the Western Collegiate Football Officials Associations and hired in 2012 by the Big Sky Conference. He has worked all seven positions at the NCAA level and all five positions at the high school level.
Vic instructs high school and college officials in Southern California and has served as a clinician at a number of camps and clinics. He is a past president of the California Football Officials Association and serves on the Executive Council as an instructional consultant. His ultimate officiating goal is to officiate a Rose Bowl game as his Great-grandfather did in the first Rose Bowl in 1902.
Vic resides in Hermosa Beach, California with his wife Darcy (from Kailua, a Kalaheo High School Mustang) and has a special fondness for Hawaii. During the NFL season he works with Mike Pereira in the Fox Command Center.
